Since the young age, Corrado Caruso, has been use to deal with the kitchen...when his parents were working, his aunt was taking care of him. She was running a " trattoria " right in the middle of Rome, not far from " Colosseum " area. For this reason, we can say,
he was predestinated, a day, to open a business on his own...Actually, his life was a bit different. Although he was still helping his aunt, he got a specialization in information technology and joined a big Italian company for a few years. But his inner goal was to get something different from the life his parents were actually dreaming for him...
So, in one of his touristic trips, he fall in love with Thailand and, particulalry with Hua Hin... He recognized the place where make his dream come true... That was seven years ago; in a totally different reality for the town. He kept coming back some other times until decided to set-up and try to realize his aunt teaching. He opened " Caruso " on December 2002, and, from that day, has been a real success. You can really find the autentic family-atmosphere and typical homemade Italian cuisine with, probabily, the best value for money in all town !!! With the proximity of the Hilton Hotel, very often you can find guest of the same enjoing one of the 20 more pizzas on the menu', or listen the recommandation from the Chef regarding the " penne al salmone " or " spaghetti Siciliani " and the mouthwatering " penne Corrado " !!!
What we can say about the wines list ? Soave, Chardonnay, Montepulciano d" Abruzzo, Chianti, Bardolino down until the Prince of the wines " Barolo " to get a unforgettable experience.
To " Caruso " , every night, you can meet at least an Italian, resident or tourist, even only to delight his palate with the typic homemade tiramisu' or just for one espresso, and have a chat with the extremely gentle and sociable host.
He has been, and actually is, a informatic-buff ; he planned and opened up a website " www.dacaruso.com" that has a function as Italian community, where you can find worldwide news, Hua HIn news and chatting if you like, sharpening your Italian leanguage.
Hua Hin si trova a 230 Km a sud di Bangkok ed è stata la prima stazione balneare della Thailandia. E' facilmente raggiungibile dalla capitale con il treno, partendo dalla stazione di Hualaphong (il viaggio dura circa 4 ore), in autobus, oppure affittando un auto privata (il viaggio dura mediamente 3 ore, traffico di Bangkok permettendo...
